3D Tune In Games
We are pleased to have been contacted by Emily Frost (Audiologist - Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust) as part of the team working on the 3D Tune In project.
This is a game for children (and adults) to learn more about their hearing loss and how to get the best from their hearing aid technology.
Hearing aids can do so much more than they used to, and often people (including audiologists) don’t know how to set them to give the most benefit to the person wearing them. Most youngsters are more confident at using technology than their teachers or parents and would use new features if they can experience them to find out what works best for them. That is what the 3D Tune In app is designed to do.
The 3D Tune In game is at the final evaluation stage. They are looking for children of 8 years and older who wear hearing aids to evaluate the game. There are workshops arranged in February and March where you can play the game and then answer a sort questionnaire about your thoughts and opinions about it. There is prize draw for an Amazon voucher. The project website is http://3d-tune-in.eu or download and have a look at the flyer.
